Dr. KaLinda Bass-Barlow
A dedicated and transformative leader in Montessori education, Dr. Bass-Barlow overcame early challenges to earn four degrees, an AMI Montessori diploma, and a nonprofit certification. With a career spanning from kindergarten teacher to assistant superintendent, she now serves as the Interim Executive Director of AMI/USA.
Dr. Bass-Barlow is best known for successfully transforming Harold Holliday Montessori School, doubling enrollment and expanding access to Montessori teacher training. Her leadership secured over $1 million in funding to support Montessori educators, and she played a key role in establishing a satellite AMI training center. Passionate about empowering educators and advocating for high-quality Montessori education, she continues to shape the future of public Montessori programs.
A large part of Dr. Bass-Barlow's journey to unlocking the joy of life was discovering the world through adventurous travel. She has experienced first-hand that no matter your background, traveling the world is possible and truly makes life an exuberant adventure.

I decided to take a unique approach by combining my business and travel content into one website. This fusion reflects my belief that life is about more than just work—we're all multi-dimensional people who find joy both in our professions and personal experiences. I’m passionate about helping others through Montessori education and equally inspired by the adventures that come with travel.
